Augusta Crash: Four Hospitalized

A two-vehicle crash in Lyman, Maine, resulted in serious injuries for four individuals, including a juvenile. The incident occurred on Route 111 around 1:30 p.m. when a 2014 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 79-year-old Paul Archambault of Biddeford, collided head-on with a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck operated by 47-year-old Matthew Grenier of Lyman. Archambault and his passenger, 76-year-old Cecile Archambault, also of Biddeford, sustained serious injuries and were transported to Maine Medical Center. Grenier and a juvenile passenger in the Silverado also suffered serious injuries. Grenier was taken to Southern Maine Health Care, while the juvenile was transported to Maine Medical Center. Maine State Police, along with the York County Sheriff's Office and local fire departments, responded to the scene. Route 111 was temporarily closed to allow for accident investigation and cleanup.
