A school shooting at Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Dallas, Texas, left four people injured. The incident occurred after a fight broke out in the school's parking lot following dismissal. According to Dallas ISD Police Chief John Lawton, a person unrelated to the original fight brandished a weapon and fired multiple shots. Four individuals, all between 15 and 17 years old, were transported to local hospitals. One victim was initially reported to be in critical condition, while the other three sustained non-life-threatening injuries. As of the latest update, all four are in stable condition. Law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene, placing the school on lockdown and initiating a search for the suspect. Dallas ISD Police Department is leading the investigation, and are reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify the shooter.
