Defiance on Hold

Trump's animosity towards these firms stems from their perceived connections to his political adversaries and what he views as unfair treatment during and after the 2016 election. He accuses these firms of being part of a "deep state" conspiracy against him. By targeting these law firms, Trump is accused of weaponizing the power of the executive branch to punish political opponents.
