American basketball player Jarron Gilbert was arrested in Bali, Indonesia, after allegedly assaulting a security guard at a villa. Gilbert, reportedly intoxicated, was asked to leave the villa after causing a disturbance. He refused and allegedly became violent, punching the security guard in the face. The incident occurred early in the morning and was captured on video. Local police responded to the scene and took Gilbert into custody. The security guard sustained injuries and reported the incident to the authorities. Police are investigating the case and Gilbert could face charges of assault, which carry a potential prison sentence under Indonesian law. The investigation is ongoing and further details are expected to be released as the police gather more evidence and conduct interviews.
