On Sunday, a small Cessna Citation private jet crashed in a mountainous area of Virginia, killing all four people on board. The plane departed from Elizabethton, Tennessee, and was headed for Long Island MacArthur Airport in New York. Among the deceased were Adina Azarian, a prominent Long Island real estate agent, and her two-year-old daughter, Aria. The pilot, identified as Jeff Hefner, was also killed. The identity of the fourth passenger remains unconfirmed. The plane's unusual flight path and the pilot's apparent unresponsiveness raised concerns. Military jets were scrambled to intercept the Cessna after it flew into restricted airspace over Washington D.C. The fighter pilots observed the Cessna pilot slumped over and unresponsive, and the plane was flying erratically. Investigators are examining whether the sudden depressurization of the cabin may have incapacitated those on board, leading to the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is conducting a full investigation, including examining the flight recorder and cockpit voice recorder, to determine the cause of the crash. find the original article here: https://www.yahoo.com/news/fatal-dc-plane-crash-not-002113473.html
