Global Labor: EMEA Focus

In Iran, multiple sectors are experiencing strikes and protests reflecting the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. Retirees have taken to the streets to voice their grievances, while oil workers and radiology technicians have staged strikes demanding improved wages and working conditions. Nigeria is also grappling with labor unrest. Junior doctors and tertiary college staff in Oyo State have initiated strike action over the non-implementation of the minimum wage and persistent staff shortages, further straining already limited resources.
