NJ Man unalives dad

A New Jersey man, 24-year-old Joshua Leeper, walked into the Winslow Township Police Department and confessed to fatally shooting his father. He informed officers he had shot his father, 65-year-old Christopher Leeper, at their home earlier that day. Police immediately responded to the residence on Cavalier Court and discovered Christopher Leeper deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Joshua Leeper was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses. The incident is being investigated by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and the Winslow Township Police Department. The motive for the shooting remains unclear. An autopsy was performed, confirming Christopher Leeper's death resulted from a gunshot wound, officially ruling it a homicide. Joshua Leeper is currently being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility awaiting further court proceedings.
