A 34-year-old hiker, Lukas McClish, was found alive in the Santa Cruz Mountains after being missing for 10 days. He had initially gone for a short, three-hour hike on June 11th but became disoriented after losing his way due to rain and challenging terrain. McClish survived by drinking water from a creek and eating wild berries. He spent his nights sleeping on a bed of leaves. He initially shouted for help but eventually stopped when his voice became hoarse. His family reported him missing when he failed to arrive for a planned Father's Day dinner. A large-scale search effort was launched, involving multiple agencies and the use of drones. McClish was eventually found in a remote canyon by search and rescue teams. He was described as being thin and slightly injured but in stable condition. He was reunited with his family and taken to a local hospital for evaluation. find the original article here: https://www.yahoo.com/news/missing-hiker-survived-weeks-california-230818379.html
