A feather drifts where the wind commands, A stone stands firm where the earth demands. One moves freely, light and high, One holds steady, strong and dry.

Yet when the storm begins to wail, Both will bend beneath the gale. For neither weight nor flight alone, Can brave the world when winds have blown.
