Let’s be clear: the Supreme Court is not neutral. With a 6–3 conservative supermajority, it has become one of the most powerful arms of the right-wing movement.
From gutting voting rights to attacking reproductive freedom, the Court’s recent rulings reflect an ideological agenda more than any abstract legal philosophy. It’s why expanding the Court and instituting term limits are no longer radical ideas—they are necessary for democracy.
Progressives must stop pretending judicial institutions are above politics. They're not. We either reform the Court or watch it dismantle the future we’re fighting for.
