A Georgia man, Brian Anthony Adams, was arrested after causing a disturbance at a Walmart while trying to purchase a large number of gift cards. Adams entered the store and attempted to buy $7,500 worth of gift cards using a credit card. The transaction was declined. He then tried to use several other credit cards, all of which were declined as well. Becoming agitated and suspicious, Walmart employees contacted the police. When officers arrived, Adams was reportedly yelling and acting erratically. He claimed he was buying the gift cards for a friend who was out of state. Further investigation revealed that Adams had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in another county. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. The police also seized the credit cards he was using, pending further investigation into their legitimacy. The incident caused a significant disruption within the Walmart store, requiring police intervention to restore order. find the original article here: https://www.yahoo.com/news/georgia-man-went-walmart-buy-150010696.html
